Surf NJ with the Jersey Shore Surf Camp

Surf NJ with a fun surf camp. Want more information about the Jersey Shore Surf Camp in conjunction with Barooo Surf Shop? You can check out their website here. Learn surfing and ocean skills….if you’ve been wanting to learn surfing, now is your chance!

The surf camps start the week of June 15 and run through the summer.

Campers can select from 1 day, 2 day or 5 day sessions.

These surf camps provide an opportunity to learn from professional surfers and watermen. You’re guaranteed to be surfing waves by the end of the first day!

You can also choose a 1 day surf camp for adults. Ready to ride the waves, and learn this fun skill?

Surfing Events

Looking for surfing events? Surf NJ and win some cash! Seaside Heights will be hosting “The Grudge Match” and the “Barooo Surf Shop Challenge”. Here’s the scoop on these surfing events.

The Grude Match Trials are a preliminary event for October’s Grudge Match. There’s a $1,000 dollar cash purse, and it’s split between the top 4 finalists. Young contestants interested in partaking in the Grudge Match, must first qualify in the Grudge Match Trials. There is a $50 entry fee.

Next up is the Barooo Surf Shop Challenge. This Eastern Surfing Association event will be held in Seaside Heights. (This event is part of the Central NJ schedule)

Barooo Surf Shop Challenge:
Double Points Event
June 6th or 7th
No Waves: June 13th or 14th

June 16, 23, 30, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
July 7, 14, 21, 28, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
August 4 & 11, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Barooo Surf will be hosting a Skim Board contest May 16 near the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights.
